My Story

A Pennsylvania native, Brittany graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 with a dual major in History and Anthropology, and related focus in Film Studies.

Brittany began her creative path as a musician, singing and playing violin at a young age.  Not long after, she was cast in a musical and discovered a love of the performing arts.  

In 2004, Brittany discovered filmmaking.  She began Film/TV classes in highschool, learning how to shoot and edit short films, as well as produce live television segments.

After college, Brittany began a career at Apple Inc.  As a Creative, Brittany taught hundreds of personal and group training on a wide variety of subjects, but primarily specialized in Apple's professional video and photography software.  She became an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut 7, Final Cut X, and Aperture 3.

She moved to Austin, Texas for several years in 2014 to continue her career as a Professional Applications Advisor, helping customers with technical issues with Final Cut Pro, Aperture, Logic Pro, MainStage, Compressor, and Motion.  She also spent time working with the AppleCare Production team, producing multimedia content from start to finish for internal communications, branding, and training.

Exploring SoCo - Austin, TX

Currently, Brittany is working as a Senior Specialist on the Apple Pay Team in Pittsburgh, PA.  She is available for multimedia creation and is open to travel for projects. Her recent work with MediaSoup was highlighted during SXSW, and she has won several awards for independent short films submitted to the 48 Hour Film Project.  She is excited about the prospect of working with new clients or working on side projects with her fellow creatives.
